The Remedy
An injection of collagen protein dermal filler is injected into the
dermis or second layer of skin.

No. of Treatments for an Effective Series
One treatment plus a skin test 4 weeks prior to the first treatment for Bovine Collagen (Zyderm/Zyplast). There is no skin test required for Human Collagen (Cosmoderm/Cosmoplast).
Treatment Intervals
Collagen replacement is a temporary treatment and may require
repeat therapy every 3 to 4 months.
Treatment Time
45 - 60 minutes. Depending upon the number of areas treated.
Recovery Time
30 minutes to a few hours.
Some swelling and redness at the treatment site may occur.
This usually fades in a matter of hours to in rarer cases, a few days.
