Remedy
The injection of 1 to 4 syringes of Restylane is injected with a tiny needle into the areas below the wrinkles or tissue to raise and or plump the tissue.
Result
Restylane softens and/or smoothes the wrinkles or adds enhancement to the lip areas.
Number of Treatments for an Effective Series
1 treatment with 1 to 4 syringes depending upon the areas, treatments & depth of lines treated.
Treatment Intervals
Restylane generally lasts twice as long as collagen so treatments are generally scheduled in six month intervals.
Treatment Time
We generally allow for 60 to 90 minutes for Restylane treatments as a dental block is first administered to numb the areas and more than one syringe is often requested.
Recovery Time
Restylane can cause more swelling for a longer period of time than collagen. To be safe, one should plan for their swelling to be somewhat present for a period of 24 to 72 hours and that the treatment be done 1 week in advance of any social engagement.
